They are never really done and you're 100% right. That's the attraction.
I like going back to a project to improve on something or because I've found just the right part for it. Everyday is a treasure hunt.
The research and learning about these bikes even after having one for almost 40 years - that's fun and humbling to see the depth of knowledge on this forum!
Being there in the beginning is priceless.
Redoing things because/when I messed up - not so much fun.
Redoing things after I learned a better way to do something, that's educational.
Sitting in the garage with a beer and just looking at the bikes and thinking "look what I done" is great.
Meeting and talking to people with the same addiction, now THAT'S FUN!
