Old honda on good eats
« on: October 19, 2009, 05:38:44 PM »
If anyone watches the show you know Alton Brown is a bike guy.  Tonite on the "cooking with beer and wine" episode there was a brief shot of a old honda. First guess would be a 450.  On again at 1AM ET.

I think it was a short-lived show called "Feasting on Asphalt".  Alton was riding his BMW.

alton brown is a bit annoying but there is some great info on his programs. you should see the one he did about home brewing.

I've always liked his show.  He's like the Mr. Wizard of cooking show hosts.  Not only do you learn how to cook something, but you learn why you should do it that way and what's happening when you're doing it.

It was supposed to be short lived as it was a mini series.   He did one after that he jumped onboard several fishing boats going down the coast.   I always like that he seems not to take himseff or the show to serious.  Why else would he have bigfoot (chewbacca costume ?) and a corny lobsterman in some episodes.  Before the feasting on assfault he would pull up on his bike at the beginning of some of the shows

Turns out the show actually had 3 seasons, but I guess I only saw episodes from the 1st one.  In the 3rd season they called it "Feasting on Waves".
