just got this bike. 1973 750-4. starts ok, sounds pretty good. will run on choke for about 2 minutes then dies out...it had been sitting for yrs with just sta-bile in the tank...would redoing the carbs be the first place to start?

I would drain the tank and put fresh gas in there.  I would also check to see how quickly gas is flowing out of the petcock.  If it is just dribbling out, you have a problem.  Good luck!
