so on this diagram
http://www.cmsnl.com/classic-honda-fansite/honda_wiring_diagrams/CB750(K3-K7).jpg
in the upper right corner, there is a short red wire thats between the starter solenoid and the battery.  on my bike, its coming out of the rubber housing thats connected to the starter solenoid.  its disconnected and based on its length, i have no idea where it is to go.  anyone have any ideas if this is right? or is it highly possible, someone somewhere along the way did this on their own...and its not correct?  thanks, sorry, im trying to learn.

if its the wire i think its connected to the post on the top of the starter.... is everything in working order? use a voltmeter to see if it has power when u push the start button... or an old turn signal would light up...
