Getting close to repainting my '77 CB750F and I wanted to see what the general consensus is....

Personally I like the top one. But the Black outline of the wings would be lost on a black tank. The bottom one is nice except for the orange hm oval. Change that to white or gold and it would look nice. Middle one does nothing for me.IMHO

i was thinking about going for a monochrome look since the engine is black. i like the old ones the most but don't think they make them in anything other than white/orange

Are you going to leave the original ss stripes on the tank? If so, I don't think that the emblem would look bad at all with the orange. would probably match the stripe.

They don't but I do! Sold a few to the guys on the forum here and they've been on the manx GP winning Hondas for 4 out of the last five years so clearly they make you ride fast too!

no. either the stock stripe or the wing decals. i'm trying to decide.

I took your bottom image and did some modifying for a decal that will go on my new tank. If you like it, I can send you the vector .ai file.

Thanks! What color are you going to paint your tank? What color(s) are you thinking for the decal?

Tank is pepper grey metallic (think Eleanor from Gone in 60 Seconds). The decal is printed in black and white as shown but I may cut out the white for just a black outline.
