What is this ?

This came out of the oil pan of my cb550f anyone have any clues what it is? sorry about the bad image quality. And yes i know it is a beer cap im asking about the other thing :).

I'd like to think it's just part of a tool dropped in while attempting to recover the lid. :-\

Could it be part of that 'Ratchet Guide,Plate' in the parts diagram, on the end of the Kick Start Spindle?

Its not part of the ratchet guide on the kick start. I can see that when the oil pan is off...
It is metal. Ill try and get a better pic on in a few mins.
