High and tight pipes. Need clearance!
« on: October 23, 2009, 05:29:45 AM »
Im looking for a set of CB750 pipes that hug the frame rails and dont sit lower than the frame.  Im looking for a 4-2 (especially since most 4-1's run under the frame).  Does anyone know of any pipes that sit high?  my frame is about 4 to 4-5 inches off the ground and I dont want to lose any more clearance.  The pipes I have on there now sit about a half inch under the frame rails and sit wide, so turning is a pain.

Hell scramblers would be great hah.

Thanks!

Maybe ask KingCustomCycles.com about the pipes he uses on his rigid bobbers?  His ride heights are around 5"

Stock header pipes are the highest you will find.

I used a turbo header pipe, and then built a rear section to lower my bike a lot.

If you are not cutting off your stock sidestand mount, you are not low yet..

There never was a stock sidestand mount.  It's a santee swingarm frame.  I'll check out Mr. King
