Any idea on a price yet Rob?  Have you giving it a good run yet? I am really liking what you are doing here mate.... ;)

Mick

Hey Mick,

Setting a reasonable price is not easy, considering all the work involved. We're working on that. In two weeks the clutch will get some serious beating during a big Classic festival in France at Dijon. If it will take that beating it'll take all.
Thanks for your nice comments,

Cheers mate.

well hopefully the price isn't so high that us "normal" folk can't afford it!  i've been saving my pennies, so i'm really hoping they'll be enough!!   :) :)

hey rob, if you have any other pictures of the clutch parts not installed, would you mind posting them up on here?  i'd love to see what all the parts look like disassemble!

Hey G,

For obvious reasons I will not do that, just yet. First have to make sure all stays in one piece, and second it is our 'baby' and do not want others to run off with it. It's sad but true, it has happened before.
Hopefully the price will not be too high for all, but there is of course a lot of parts and work involved. Ever seen a price for a RSC/HRC dry clutch conversion?

Cheers mate,

Rob

HRC/HSC isn't that close to the Nova for the 450's?

That was close to $700 wasn't it?

Sam. ;)

HRC was not even in business when CB750's were made. Unless you mean HRC as another company, non Honda related.
The real HRC started in 1983 with V4's arriving on Superbike grids here and in UK. Also with Spencer's NS500 triples on GP500 grids.

Are we speaking about the same thing?

Same HRC Mark, I was just saying, anything you buy from them has no guarantee (warranty) and everything cost a fortune. The cheapest thing I bought from them was a rear brake master cylinder reservoir for my RS, it cost just 99 pence and still had no guarantee. :(

Sam
I understand what you meant. But, just because there is no warranty on the parts you purchase does not mean they are bad or inferior parts. Not a Motocross race machine made today, has a warranty on it and they are all very high quality machines. Most pure racing parts are sold, "as is" no warranty. How could any company know that the parts they sell are going to be installed correctly and for what application? Racing machines are used in such hard to control conditions, there can be no warranties or guarantees.

This is one of the reasons the clutch is not yet available, we want to make sure we will sell a good piece and of course will help when there should occure a problem, but we just cannot give full warranty. All kits will be trail-fitted and tested prior to delivery to be sure it is OK.

Hey LMP,

It is hard to speak about that 'in public'. Let me put it this way, if you consider the amount of work and hours designing and building the parts. The purchase of small parts and of specially made parts it is a realistic amount. We are still working on that and hoping to get some good deals for some parts that we need to buy. Of course we'll try to get below that figure.

Thanks Bill,

We're close to finalizing the prototype. Going to make a small batch and see what happens. In two weeks time another attempt to brake it down during the Bikers Classic on Spa.

Cheers, Rob
