Winter, that is. I used to love it, but then I bought a bike and all that changed. Here we are heading into the cold and rainy season, and I have to put my bike up for the season. I'm going to be cranky for quite awhile.

No kidding! And the weatherman keeps telling me we'll have a couple of nice days in the next-coming weeks, just to change his story when the days come up. Maybe I'll just have to break out the coveralls and winter riding gear. ;)

That's what I love about Denver, it will snow one day and be in the 60's for the next few days.  This goes on for the majority of the winter, there is only about a month (maybe two) of no riding at all.  That's when we drive 45 minutes away to go ski/snowboard.  Denver is awesome!

went riding on jan 1st one year
if the temp is above 40 i'm good

I used to ride year around on my bike, laid it down on a patch of ice on Dec 30th one year when it was 20 degrees outside. I also used to commute 45 minutes in the dead of winter.  I would get right behind big rigs just to block the wind.  Standard bikes with no windshield don't like that stuff too much. I try not to ride in the cold now.  I am too warm blooded.
