Prayer for my 7 year old daughter
« on: October 25, 2009, 05:52:57 PM »
Hey all I hate posting stuff like this, it's not normally me, but Last week i spent most of my time in Augusta,Ga in the childrens wing of the hospital in nerologey. The Doc's have no idea what is wrong with her and we are still having the problems and her migraines are at least twice a day, on my wife's side of the family her brother had a cist and water on the brain. They have not done an mri yet and the wife and I are having to go back Tues to Augusta,Ga and that is when we are going to ask that they do an mri. My wife is stressed and she is starting to have bad panic attacks again, she is on kolonipin 3 times a day and they just gave her a new med to go along with the kolonipin and that is zoloft at 150 mlg a day. My wife is with the kids all the time while i work and she is exsausted from the worry about maybe our 7 year old having to have nero surgery and the panic attacks and trying to keep up with house. We are so over extended and are fixing to have to file bankrup, I feel like we live between here and Augusta.

If there IS anything you can think of that I could do to help, please let me know! :-\ God knows that the prayers are going out, as soon as I finish this. Prayers from NY. Good news will fix those panic attacks. I know they will.

My brother had the same problems with debilitating migranes. They went through all kinds of bull #$%* tests etc. FINALLLY after a bunch of MRI's etc. they finally found a small tumor on his pituitary gland. They had to do surgery up through his nose to get to it but he's been free of pain since. And he went on with those headaches for 5 years.

Sorry all I just re-read all the posts and I think you all missed that we are having to travel back a forth to the children's hospital in augusta, they sent her home 2 weeks ago and we have been doing alot of travling to the children's hospital, the nerologist is good with my daughter we are going back to augusta tommorow for the mri and various others, my wife is packing some clothes for her and my daughter just in case she has to stay again. Perosnally I hope they Keep her until they find out what is going on. It's the driving that is killing us with gas prices so high and now we are about to have to shut off our internet and phones and tv just to pay lights water rent and the car insurance that is come due at end of this month, somehow we have to pull a rabbit outta the hat for that one. Please just continue to pray, because before all of this is over my wife is gonna have to have surgery on her ankle, she feel on it again last night and hit her head on coffee table and then the door in our room, her fall shook whole house. so she is back having to use her cane again. :-\

All right, I'm back and I hope that James and his family have been getting the Support that they need. God knows, it really makes us pay attention, when it's one of our kids that is having problems! I  can certainly identify with that sort of situation,as I know others can as well, so let's get behind them and SHOW THEM our support on their time of need. I certainly hope that we can take some of the load off by helping them financially, as much as possible. ;)

I just read James' last post, all the way through (didn't do that the first time  ::) )

" Please just continue to pray, because before all of this is over my wife is gonna have to have surgery on her ankle, she feel on it again last night and hit her head on coffee table and then the door in our room, her fall shook whole house. so she is back having to use her cane again. Undecided "

James, I am just speechless! To have ONE situation going at a time, can be really devastating, but for your wife to have THAT problem as well!!!!!!!!!  :( :-\  I pray that the suffering that you all are going through, will run it's course soon and Jordan and your wife will start mending, so that you all can get on the road to a speedy recovery!

OK it's almost 9pm and we just got back from Augusta, they are still not sure what the cause is from all of her problems and we have to go back in a couple of weeks again. This next visit is the MRI visit and wife has to still keep a headache log. they gave her topamax to settle the headaches and if they seems to get worse we have to call her office back asap. We had another issue pop up, my son is now sicker than a dog. Thinking maybe he has flu. He got home from school and started hugging the porcelain and the floor.will keep U updated as soon as we have another one.

When does it stop. I feel for the little guy. I am getting over it myself. I got it quick and got the Tamiflu in time. Without it I would have been really bad.
