Thankyou People
« on: December 15, 2005, 03:07:48 AM »
First.
Thanks to everyone who posts, reads and has input on this forum.
I get re-inspired looking at other peoples bikes.
Stock / Modified / Cafe'd / Chopped.
I love 'em all.
The Gallery is great.
What a great bike.

And.
To everyone who has shared imformation in the past.
The info available to restorers and modifiers of the CB750 is amazing.
Sometimes there's so much information it's hard to know where to start.
I'm looking forward to having 2 weeks off soon.
Time to hit the shed and get some work done on the K1

Also.
I'm thankful that i still have 4 sons.
One of my boys was in a car accident last Sat. night.
The Ute he was travelling in with friends rolled 3 times
The car is cactus. (stuffed)
The boys spent a couple of hours in hospital to get checked over.
A few bruises and cuts but otherwise all ok
Very lucky.

So, anyway...
Keep it up people.
My new years resolution is to make lots of progress on my bikes.

have fun
Brookesy

Brooksey,
I echo your sentiments.
Glad to hear your boy is ok, that's a benefit of being in a big car?
Jim.

The Lord watches over children, fools, and drunks~ good thing he fits inthere somewhere I've got 2 out of 3, myself).
I'm also grateful that this is a forum that seems to have intelligent people who don't have a need to verbally beat up on others just to make themselves feel better somehow.  Feel like there are good friends here- which reminds me; Egil and I just traded patches! Very cool!
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!

Enjoy your time off Brooksey, this is my last day at work for a month (although I'll be doing some army reserve work for a week or so) and I'm just trying to clear the decks so I can enjoy my time off. I'm glad to hear that your boys are ok, I've got two boys with cars, and I worry about them every day. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

We all will say a prayer for a quick recovery.

Lot's of nice people here, for sure. Not like some other sites.

good luck. michel

I'm Lovin' life over here fellas.
We're hoping to go for a few rides over the Christmas break.

Every day is special.

BTW...
My collection of beat up 750/4's is growing.
I now have
1. Complete K1 - stock and under restoration.
2. F1 / F2 hybrid race bike - still don't know why i bought it
3. Almost complete K2 - it will be a cafe racer one day
4. Accident damaged K2 - it will become a chopper once the K1 is finished
5. A mountain of bits and pieces, some good, some bad, some ugly bits.

Hoping to find time to sort through everything soon

All the boys are doing ok
Harley (my boy) is back at work but still a bit nervous about driving.
We'll sort that out though.
I think he realises now why i have a rule for all in this house.
2 years on a car licence before they can get a road bike

My wife has her learners permit now and starts rider training in January
my fingernails will never be the same again...

Thanks again.
Enjoy the ride.
