I read the ideas, and I guess trying something new can't hurt, they're just toys after all.
And new tools are always cool to have.
And I'm certainly known as one to get stuck on an idea and not let go.
But I don't want to scare anybody away from this by making it sound harder than it is.
On a stocker with a good taper on the cylinder liner, the cylinders drop right on, with a little care and oil.
If the taper is less due to overbore, 2 - $1.00 hoseclamps work fine.
I've done 20 or 30 in my lifetime including some CB160s, CB77s, CB350s, my HawkGT, etc. Never broke a ring.
