Topic: i am a new member and i need some advice and help

hi!!!
i joined this group with the hopes that someone can help me get my 1973 750k3 up and running. my location is st augustine florida and i have been unable to locate a good mechanic. the local honda dealer first coast honda is absolutely un willing to work on the bike and refuses to even offer up the names of any mechanics that are able to work on the things. bike still has original paint and the only non-stock item on it is a kerker 4 into 1 header. i would be willing to take the bike to a good mechanic within a 200 mile radius of my location so any help that any member can offer would sure be apreciated. i even joined the VJMC with the hopes of finding someone local but to no avail. while i am sure that cb750cafe and m3 racing does great work i would still need a local mechanic to take the bike to for routine maintenance.

First, welcome. Post a pic when you can. What sort of work do you feel it needs? Have you considered doing the work yourself? You will find lots of help here.

Most of us here are dedicated DIYers and get satisfaction from knowing our bikes in and out. It comes with the territory of owning a 30-40 year old bike.
You will definitely find help here. If you are interested in doing it yourself search the forum and download the manuals. If your question hasn't already been answered here, post it and you will receive good solid advice in short order.
