I am contemplating buying a good used set of Hm341 4-4 stock exhaust pipes assuming that I can afford them.  I see that new knock off replacements are around $1300.  What should I expect to pay for a used set off Ebay in good shape?  Thanks for any input.  Ed

Search completed auctions and see what they've been selling for.

    • Buy High Quality Honda gauge parts online!
David Silver Spares in the UK sells this set complete, and I mean really complete, with all necessary parts, for $1100 (+15% VAT). See http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/parts/part_38799/

I've bought this set and it contains every bolt, screw etc.

Only the pipes and the baffles cost $709 +VAT. http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/parts/part_38793/

So $1300 is much too expensive

You can get brand new Honda pipes for about 225 to 250 per pipe (HM341s) - not including shields, connectors and diffusers - aka baffles. Hondanuts will ship 4 pipes for $55 from NY to CO.

I bought a new K2-K6 seat from them and I was happy: http://www.hondanuts.com/cb750.html

I'd say off the top of my head about 1200-1400 shipped.
So, yeah, that's about right.

Agreed...$500 for a good used set. But you have to be willing to accept some dents, stains and maybe scratches.

Are these going on your bike for sale? If you find them?

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

problem with used is you just don't know how rusted they are inside. They rust from the inside out and could be almost shot but still look good.

VS new which you know are good. I coated my new ones with heat resistant paint inside to prevent bluing and rusting so I know they will be good for many years to come.
