New England riders get together
« on: October 29, 2009, 10:04:57 AM »
I am not sure if I'm in the right area! I was wondering if folks ever get together to show off thier bikes.
Maybe a fall ride (weather permitting) or push the plans out for spring.
Any interest from the New England crowd?

www.nehondaguys.info is the place you want to be.

Lots of great people, rides, get-togethers, tech support, and all the rest of the great things we have right here.
Just on a more local level.  And it's not just for Hondas either.

There's a lot of members from Vermont here, we should all get together sometime.  Burlington is only 200 miles from my house.

Cool, are there any good bike events up that way that aren't 'cruiser dominated'?

I'm a new rider so I wouldn't be interested in a big rally but if a couple of you guys would like to get together for a ride and maybe lunch, that would be really fun.

Cool Gorms, we'll have to get together sometime.  Has your riding season ended yet?

Cool Smokey, What's 10 miles north of Boston? Sommerville? Stoneham?
I ran a quick search a minute ago and nehondaguys came up 37 times....

What bikes have you guys got?
-Alan

I've been riding a 92 750Nighthawk, but my CB750K3 should be done before spring with any luck, and I've got a CM400 waiting its turn after that.

On the contrary; it just started (it will be short).  I just finished my '77 cb550 cafe.

Sweet! I'll look for a build thread.  I'm probably not storing the Nighthawk this winter, just winterizing and keeping it covered (read cheap bastard).
Last year I put it away on Thanksgiving day, I'd hope to put on another 1500 miles or so by that time this year.

Why can't I ever live next to a group of folks like this?
Man, just a couple states too far.
Day late, dollar short...
Maybe I should move back to NY
Laconia this year anyone?

I live just outside of Burlington. I'd love to get together with other SOHC riders. My bikes are not yet put away, but I don't think we have much of a riding season left.

I'm also from just west of Boston, and look forward to regular get togethers with the other NEHonda guys. I have ridden a couple of times this year in Vt, one of my favorite states to ride in BTW.
I've taken the ferry across to NY state a couple of times as well gone over the Champlain bridge. My main and pretty much only objection to Burlington is that hotels are expensive there.

Burlington's weather is nicer than ours today, I'd be riding if I were there.
