I just did this with a 750 4-1 header. I used 2" wrap and had 100' of it, of which I probably only used 50-60'. The bike build is still in progress, so I can't comment on how it stands up to riding.
Quick question: Even though I have mine double-tied on both sides of each wrap, I still worry a little about fraying. Is it common to use some kind of high-temp glue (or something?) to seal the ends of the wrap to prevent any possibility of fraying? I think the stainless steel ties should (in theory) prevent fraying, but I'd feel more comfortable if I were able to seal the ends. The wrap I used seemed to come undone quite easily once you cut it.
Thanks,
Aaron
