Notice the Centauro has the OHC heads of the Daytona, not the normal pushrod heads that all others came with. And furthermore, they are different that the current crop of OHC 4v heads that just came out last year. Those are a product of their 'racing' program as developed by the good Dr.

God I love Guzzi's. Guess that's why I have one. 77 Lemans.

Not me, brother.  Right now I've realized I need to sell off one ride, and work hard on the '75 Triumph to get it on the road.

An original, or a new one?

Actually- they're both nice, but the originals are a bit nicer IMO.

an original one. i think it was a 72 maybe? beautiful chrome and alloy, the sweetest looking black paint i've ever seen, a blue based black instead of the more common brown based black. it even has the original fish tail mufflers and this gent is the original owner as well.

I drove one almost identical to that from a dealer to my friends house ,12.5 miles, My friend Jack thought I bought a new ride and was drooling all over it. I told him to take it for a ride and handed him the key and an envelope while he was sitting on it, much to his surprise he found that it was a gift to him from his wife for their thirtieth wedding anniversary. Strange for about a week she was walking around with her hair messed up and her clothes disheveled. She got an 18000 dollar kitchen installed while they were on a vacation and didn't find out till she came home and walked in to the house. They are both truly a pair. God bless them. The bike gets  exceptional  praise from me just from that short ride. Head
