purchased a part during a rebuild or restoration that you now regret buying? but youre too much into the hole on it to just scrap it or buy a replacement? i'm there right now with the cr750 style seat and upholstery pan on my k4 750 and i was wondering who else might have been in that situation and what YOU did about it

ah, i'm really not happy with the look of the cr750 style airtech seat i got. i really wanted a more square looking one like what alot of folks are calling the dunstall or ducktail but at the time i got this seat i couldnt find one that would bolt the stock hinges and latch right on, i didnt want one that would bolt directly to the frame. i really wanted to finish painting but not until i can decide what to do about this seat. it fits absolutely perfect and having the upholstery pan is great but i just dont know about the look...........
