Picked up a 1980 CM400T.  Is there a site too look up replacement parts and which models can swap parts?

I took the carb off and its in pretty bad shape.  Not sure if a clean will do it, so wondering what options I have to replace the carb.

Thanks

Yeah! www.hondatwins.net is the place!  and there's that www.hondatwins.com thing also... www.dotheton.com has some good info too.

Lots of us have CM400's it's a good bike available for a song.  Mine is the next project in line after my 750K3.

Bikes with similar setups will include CB450 Nighthawk, CM400C CM400E CM400A CB400T CMX450 Rebel and a few others as well.

I think this is more along the lines of what you are asking for.

Thank you both for the info.

What I am really trying to figure out is what other model bikes and years I can get a replacement carb off.

So I have a 1980 CM400T carb...can I take off a CB450 from 85?

Thanks

You could start with the site I posted and look up both bikes, but that will only tell you if the part is the same.  It will not tell you if the 450 one will fit.  There is no place that I know of for that info except experience.
