Seems cool, may go have a look at it in the next day or so.  Not sure what I would do with it, but who knows?

I'd ask to see a close-up pic of the Vincent stamp. If it's in the same style as the factory logo then buy it. Anything of Vincent origin will only appreciate in value. Hang it on the wall and wait 20 years.

I've posted the pics on a UK based classic bike site whose contributors are extremely knowledgeable. If they don't know no-one will.

My buddy left the BIG island and came back with a Henderson 4 engine!

 If I phone him, I will try to mention that tank( he is a known motorcycling encyclopedia  ), he says.. in a 25 mile circle, there are probably at least 5 or 6 Vincents here..

 He is probably pretty close to your island..
