bizarre commercials and odd things that people do with their pets

have any of you seen the commercials for the website howstuffworks.com? theres one where this guy has a calico cat in a scuba helmet, looks like she's sealed in there water tight and he's swimming with the poor damn cat in a swimming pool. i have to wonder sometimes, what some people are thinking about, or whether theyre thinking at all? i know if i tried that with ANY of my 6 cats i'd be on my way to the ER to get several hundred stitches or maybe to get an eyeball put back in  :D ah well just one of the things i start thinking about after being awake for nearly 48 hours  :D
