Not a bad way to spend a day
« on: November 05, 2009, 08:49:00 PM »
There is a friend of mine whose husband was a collector of manythings, including vintage bikes. Due to an unfortunate set of circumstances her family is now looking to sell his stuff and I offered to help with what I could. I spent the day cataloging what bikes and parts I could find and will be helping to identify and approximate the value of all this stuff. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon if you're a bike nut like me (which you are, since you're on this forum).

Some of the days finds:

Yamaha YL1

CA95 150 Benly

Suzuki K15 Hillbilly

1970 CL175

68 CB350

75 CB750F Batman Edition

Old Mercedes Benz Motor

And my personal favorite: A CB350F with a 400F motor and some parts had stickers in Japanese

And there's more bikes and parts than what I have shown. It's kind of a bummer that I'm helping to sell this stuff. If I had the space and the money I'd sure love to buy this stuff :)

that cb350 with the 400 motor is a piece i'd love to have parked in my garage next to the k4 750.
Of all God's creatures there is only one that cannot be made the slave of the lash. That one is the cat. If man could be crossed with the cat it would improve man, but it would deteriorate the cat.
