Topic: Northern fuel tank liner, anyone?

Anybody tried this stuff? Northern fuel tank liner and it comes in a three part kit. The guys at the motorcycle shop swear by it. I think they said it used to be called Red kote. well i pulled the trigger and bought it. cant seem to find any user reviews or tips

I have no reason to think it's not a good product, but a Por-15 kit is 40 bucks and is well-known and well-liked around here.  But when it comes down to it, an extra $23 really isn't much over the life of a tank liner.  Just make sure to do a really good job on the prep work, because that's the main factor in the longevity of any tank liner.

the shop i bought it from had the Northern kit for $45. seems like a good deal since most places on the net sell it for more. i noticed that the box says the tank liner is blue in color when applied. well i'll give it a shot this weekend.

yeah those are the instructions i used when i did mine.  read them over and over and indeed followed to the letter.

i've used this stuff with great success. i was told that northern is sold in the pint cans (and i get it for much cheaper that what you quoted), and that the same company makes red kote, which comes in gallons. in any case, i like the stuff.
