I'm pretty certain that I'm speaking for Mike, Andy, and bunch of other local guys when I say that we'd be pleased and honored to get together with you at you convenience. Andy has already volunteered for beer buying, so we're all set. ;D ;D
Seriously, let us know when you'll be up and we'll set up a meet.

I qualified for the over 40 physical when I was 27 - diagnosed and treated for testicular cancer. I caught it with a self check. My firing battery is down to 50% strength but I still put steel on target 3 times.  Check your junk...when in doubt go get checked out by your doc.

Ben, It should be late April or Early May. I told them I will need to recover a bit from the treatments. Nothing is without side effects.

Hey Bobby, just stopped in to let you know I'm thinking of you and praying for you.

You're in good hands.  Now you know what the guys in the back of your chopper felt like hearing that!  ;D

I may be away during the middle of April but should be back for the last few days of the month. Looking forward to seeing you when you can kick back a little, having put this episode behind you.
All best Bob!

Thanks Hush I sure it is working. I am entering week three of 8 1/2 weeks of treatment. Everyone has been nice to me. I am getting some mild intestinal issues which is normal. My acid reflux came back with a vengence but that started right after diagnosis so while I kept my head focused, my gut takes the shot. This coming Friday I will be getting close to the midpoint. I cannot wait for this to end.
Last week I came home from treatment and bundled up, took my K8 for a spin. Felt good, it was cold, but it felt very good.

Bobby, Don't ignore acid reflux.  It can get ugly fast without you knowing about it.  Esophageal adenocarcinoma is on the rise, right along with acid reflux.  Get endoscoped if it has been chronic for you - an upper GI scan is NOT ENOUGH -- and see about Nexium.

You are exactly right Ed, and I have been under treatment since the Tagamet days. Nexium is one of my basic food groups. I was with the gastro guy last Wednesday and he put me on Kapridex 2X a day and a Famitodine before bed. I will see him again next week.

Good to hear you aren't letting the bike rust to the shed floor Bobby.

Bobby, right now,I'm feeling pretty bad. I was just thinking about those turntables and your situation slipped my mind. :-[ Buddy, you take good care of yourself and you'll get through this, even though it will seem like forever. I, myself, know of the Nexium that Ed mentioned, I have had great results from it. Take care Bobby and it's good that you are able to take the Ol' K8 out and stretch her legs abit.

I have now entered my fourth week of treatments. So far so good. I am a bit more tired than usual which is normal. This can get worse, or it can level off. My sense is that I am leveling off. I am crapping more often, but not anything serious, in fact I have lost six lbs in the past four weeks. This is due my acid reflux flaring up after my diagnosis, so I am on a stricter diet and not allowed my favorite snacks after dinner. So far I seem to be on track.

Four weeks is about where I started getting tired.  Good news is I snapped right out of it when the treatments were done.  It's good you're not having any more side effects than you are.  Hang in there, it'll be over before you know it.

Just got back from Oz.......and three months with the little lady undergoing Chemo for breast cancer.

She's had her issues with acid reflux as well.

Just wanted you to know that you were in my thoughts.

I hope all is well Sir.

Thanks fellas, this sure is a life changer. Now just 24 more treatments and I should be done with this nonsense. It was in the 50's this weekend so I took the old girl out for a good run rather than a keep it running run. Wound that motor out good and it was instant tune up for me and the bike. It felt good, real good.
