K8 forks on K2 frame...will they?
« on: November 06, 2009, 10:12:30 AM »
I have a K8 in decent shape with no title

I can buy a K2 frame with title but no forks.

Will they go together without modifying the stem bolt

to put these parts together for one complete bike with title?

I have a K3 that came to me as a rolling project.  It has K8 forks and wheel and rolls just fine.  I believe the frames are the same.

The frames are different at the neck but the fork tubes are the same size so you can easily put the k8 forks in the k2 tree.

The K8 front end less trees will fit the K2 trees, its a good mod as fork legs are longer,  and tubes are hardchromed.

If you swap complete front end with K2 tank, forks WILL HIT @ full lock.
