It's been a while since my last post here...

Yesterday i received the last parts needed to get the bike running again. Some fresh pictures to start off:




I have to admit i actually like the look of a stock seat, side covers and duo shocks better these days. Maybe an idea for the next project...

Hey Sander! Hier nog een Hollander!

The front fork you first used, what kind of fork was it? And did the calipers line up correctly with the brake discs (296mm)?
I also have the cbr900 front fork, but I'm currently looking into extending it since I think its about 5cm too low. I want the fueltank and the seat to be lining up horizontal with the street.
I'm currently extending it by making longer fork caps, but I don't really like that solution so a longer fork which works with the cbr discs would be great!

Hey Ilya, great looking bike! (Ik heb op mf ook al mooie dingen voorbij zien komen van je.)
 The forks and calipers in those pictures are from a late 80's, early 90's cbr1000f. They were a fair a bit longer than the cbr900 forks, so should be good for your application. Bearing sizes are the same. I remember i had to grind some of the caliper bracket in order to fit the cbr900 (sc28) wheel and discs, but nothing major.
