Out of sync, not carbs Doc.
« on: November 05, 2009, 06:01:31 PM »
Well guy's, in about 4 hours time I will be ending my career as a night time Security Officer.
After 7 years and 6 weeks of working 12 hour nights, most of it spent on here, I get to have a 5 week holiday and return on 14th december to a new job on regular days.
This means that I will be totaly out of sync with you guys in The US, Canada, New Zealand, and that guy Terry somewhere. ;D
I'm not sure how much time I will be able to get online during the day but the days of posting and getting an instant reply are numbered as we will be 12 hours adrift.
It's been a pleasure being able to chat this way and I have met a lot of good people and made many friends on this forum.
Over the next five weeks, I'll try to post from wherever I am in the States as most of my stop overs will be with members of this great community and my family in MS and VA.
I'll post in the tour thread with any snippets I might come across on my travels.
Thank's for being around guys and keeping me company through the night, cheers.

Sam. ;)

They will never be secure during the night again without you Sam, especially with you jazzing it up on this forum!  ;D

Seriously I know you've been looking forward to this switch, so good on ya mate.

I hope your tour goes off without a hitch and the automatic proves a worthy steed.

Sam  You always seemed out of sync to me.  Or maybe that was unbalanced?

I've had my old Honda too long.  I saw "Out of sync." and wondered, 'why didn't he post this in the mechanical section?'

I can't believe you did this.  Sure I'd have thought you'd tell them 'no thank you'  'My mates in the US need me to keep working nights.  I'll do it for them.'   ::)

I'm really disappointed.

Wow Sam. Congratulations on the beginning of your new life!! You're getting a job finally  ;D

And to think I always wondered what the hell you were doing besides loafing or being an insomniac! Damn good thing you were getting paid to do this  ;) Who am I going to converse with when I'm doing this stuff at 2am MST?

Hey Sam,
We're looking forward to checking you out in real time around here!
Must be great to anticipate 5 weeks off. I haven't had more than 17 days in 30 years.
Bon Voyage!
