Best method for cross referencing compatible parts????
« on: April 05, 2012, 06:51:51 AM »
I am looking for a clutch lifter plate for a 74 CB750 K4. We have a couple of bike scrap yards in the area and I would like to dig around a bit before I order the $50 part. I don't want to waste my time pulling apart clutch covers seeing if the parts match. I don't know if the boys at the scrap yards would even let me do that.. yet.

I know I could run through the manuals and part number resources we have available to us (Thanks SOHC4!!!). However, does anyone have a tried and true method for cross referencing parts????

Thanks boys!

I'm pretty sure that the part (22360-300-010 ) is identical for all years of the SOHC 750K and F.
Do you have a copy of the Honda Shop Manual or Parts List for your bike? Get one here:

Thank you Ranger!

Off to the scrap yard I go.
I'm going to look for or possibly creating some sort of matrix to cross these parts.... Sounds like a decent sized task!
