Braze. I don't think you can solder steel.

+1. Call your local radiator shop, they may be able to help?

That breed is extinct in our area every since the radiatorbarn got going. I will clean it and see first.

Put a Two Brothers Racing can on the 550. Had an exhaust place bend and weld me a mid-pipe.

Drove mine over 130 miles today. Woke up early to head to the DMV for my road test. Passed, now I can ride without a helmet legally!

Why the hell would you want to ride without a helmet mate? Are the roads on your side of the pond made from marshmallow? I understand that good helmets are expensive, and kind of inconvenient at times, but they do serve a very important purpose.............  ???

I don't know why. I just like the ride without a helmet. I have a nice helmet. Not sure if it was expensive. Around 300+ for it.. I will wear it when I go for long rides but not for short ones.

Yep, as has been said before mate, it's your right not to wear a helmet, as long as you don't mind knowing that you're risking everything every time you go for a ride. If you've got a wife or girlfriend, and maybe some kids who all rely on you, you're risking their well-being too.

Helmets suck, but dying on your way to the gas station sucks more. Cheers, Terry. ;D
Couldn't have said it better Terry................oh by the way.....just sold that 71' I sold you for $1500..............kiddin!!!!!......you better come after it though because people have been inquiring about it  (not kiddin' there!!!!)...................how's that for a thread hijack??????? ;D

There are so many period-correct slip-on options that would look great with the style you're going for.  That carbon weave sportbike pipe belongs on a Gixxer.

Got into the front sprocket area to clean up the POs crud and check things out. Spoonfulls of sandy grease. ;P Underneath all that... a clean case was revealed. :) Did a 10 minute shine on the cover and put it back on. Still clean after this mornings commute. Lovely.

Well, I got it for free, so it's there until I can get a nice system. It sounds nice too.

I got a new muffler for my bike today. Advanced Birthday present.
It sounds similar to my straight pipe with internal baffle.
I like the looks of the stainless.

Lucky I was contemplating painting my CB650 frame gold.  After seeing yours I think I'm on the right track.  Got any pics of the bike with that show the tank and sidecovers?  I'm contemplating Charcoal Gray Metallic and Satin Gold on the frame.

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Hey Lucky, it looks like you have spent a bit of time and money on your bike. Why would you put that sticker on it?
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Because it comes off easy, and if I sell the bike the new owner can do their own thing.

I rode mine to the hospital  after the wife gave birth. I was kidding with her at 445am when she was in the van and I jumped on the 550 to start it. She was half out of it until she heard it start up... I turned off the bike. W arrived at the hospital at 5 and and 514 Elin ( same name as Tigers ex) Grace was born. 21 inches, 8lb 3 oz. Her older sister Milah holding her in this pic.
