Chest mount? Not a gopro is it?

I've used the suction cup mount on the top of my tank with a gopro and it gave a great angle.

Great vid!  I know it's blasphemy on some level, but I think it would sound better without the Rolling Stones!   ;D

What did I do today?  Ordered another $150 worth of tiny parts for the CJ360T.

I began cleaning a new (for me) 74 CB550k and discovered it's missing a couple parts of the air cleaner assembly...otherwise it's ready to ride.

Plan on taking it for a quick spin then syncing the carbs.

Cut down and re-covered my seat.  It's not perfect, but it's good enough for me.

Took it for a quick spin then synced the carbs.

When I hooked up the gauges, I was absolutely surprised at how off they were. They were synced once with this jetting setup, then switched to different jets, then switched back to these. One was barely registering, one was twice as high as the other two that were about even with each other and at the number I synced to.

It idles SO much smoother now, although I kinda liked the lumpy idle. Was running a bit lean, so I went half a turn in on the pilot screws, and I think it's about as good as it's going to get.

Still need to do a complete rebuild.

Dropped the needle clip to the middle position on my 77 750k, sync'd the carbs and took it for a test ride. Plugs starting to look better, have new carb boots on order as well. Tore into my xr250 today finally, adjusted the valves pulled the side covers and fenders for a coat of rubberized rocker guard. Filled a couple dents on the tank, getting ready to paint it black.

Depending on actual shipping costs the price should be under 220.00 for the A shocks with slimline springs all black.   From all the reviews I didn't see the Ikons being worth the additional monies and Hagon's seem to have much better reviews than Progressives (also more expensive)  If this were a bike I knew I was going to keep for a long time I'd have gone with Works alloy bodied shocks but I just have this feeling that I'm going to get the itch to build something else sooner than later.

The other deciding factor was the 30min I spent on the phone with Quinn.  He answered every one of my dumb questions and a made suggestions that I think will have me on the right product for my bike.  This wasn't just clicking away on some website hoping I got the right shock.
I bought a second pair Hagons from Dave Quinn, nicest guy I ever spoke with. Best customer service I've ever experienced and a quality product.

Made a mess in the garage again, this time on the floor... I'm too old to have been addicted to graffiti  with spray paint. I used it on my own belongings as early scooter and minor mechanical parts.
Today: Spray MOTIP  Engine Paint Aluminium.

Going to be taking her out to a vintage meet-up/ride. Not very many vintage bikes on the island, and even less that would show up for a craigslist meet,

I hope I don't embarrass myself with the sad state of my bike :x

In the evening I'll be meeting up with two friends (one rides an 01 Kawi W650, the other a 12 Ninja 250) and ride to an indoor go-kart track for a Corvette Club gathering. Should be fun.

I'll be bringing my GoPro so I may have some footage.

Pulled the "Mother Lode Part 2"  K2 out of storage.

Came complete with Ape hangers, sissy bar and original paint, not bad for $400 [thanks again Kyle].

Valley Green paint appears original, may stay that way.
Apes no more [want em?!] cleaned 'er up, looks remarkably good, especially the 341's. 25K miles.
Key ordered, will try start up next week.
NY inspection sticker was only 2 years old, so this should be an easy one.
Also bought a seat and guages from Jared.
Superbike bars installed.

Need a kick stand, you have one?
