I mounted my new Motogp Werks 4into1 pipe  today, but it was so stupid loud that I had to take it apart and baffle it, street volume is Reasonable now and jetting is ok for the rest of the summer untill tuning can be done w/o loss of ride time.

Interested to see what you did to baffle it.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

I'm back on the road again!  The '73 is up and running with the carbs and fuel tank off the '72.  The bike seems to run alright.  We'll run it around for awhile to see if it will be reliable, but maybe I'll have something to ride when GZ 2.0 gets to Michigan. ;D

Today I will be tackling the shift seal leak on my 75 CB550K1.  Damn Honda dealer (Belleville Honda) gave me the wrong seal a few days back and was entirely the wrong part and demolished it trying to install.  Fiche man....look at the damn fiche!  If he tries to charge me for the new seal that I am picking up today, I will do my best to suppress my PTSD.

Nothing, I'm on the road until the 30th.  I'm living the Catch22 again, lots of work = lots of money for bike parts and tools.  No work = lots of time to wrench and ride but no money to spend on them. I'm 2800 miles from my bikes and my shop and a huge pile of back logged projects.

I really liked the Mad Max style of Georges bike.  motocyconomad was riding it on the Rally.  It is to the left of him.  It inspired me to copy some of that look.

Ordered a Witcheys Creations Phantom Cafe Racer Seat for the '76.  I know it is for a 77/78 but I have a 77 tank on it that I got from a member here.  What I got is not finished like in the images below but you get an idea of what it looks like.

Well thanks Really ! Hate I missed that ride ! In fact I was going to post up a few more pics today, still cleaning after getting caught in a downpour couple weeks back on I-10 coming from Blip Workshop , I have Steel Dragon stacks now and they do not do well in the rain !
Found this bike in completely stock condition in Feb. 08. Paid over twice what my new one cost 30 years ago. Am trying to re-create the look of the late 70's Drag Bike styling.More later. 4-2-10 It ain't stock any more and I have no idea what I am trying to create !

...drove with the K1 to my bikes.
Cleaned the blue K2 and put on blue side covers, took off the front breaks and did new seals, put on white side covers @ the black K2.

Drove home with the K1.

Damn I'm loving that frame color! What color is it, is it powdercoated or painted? If painted, spray gun or rattlecan? I was thinking of doing a color similar to that, kinda electric blue, or how anodized blue comes out, but in paint.

Thanks to lucky for some advice. I moved the needle clip down one (to raise/richen the needle), and the bike revs up from idle a lot better, but I'm still chasing that last 5%. Any recommendations?

Swapped the right upper exhaust pipe from the '72 to the '73.  The '73's was rusted out at he mounting bracket at the passenger foot peg.  Trued the wheels up.  Many of the spokes where loose.  Wheel wobble was at .040" and is now around .008".  Going to have to upgrade the steering head bearings with tapered bearings, they're notchy.

MAC 4-1 with a chopped baffle. Only the plate closest to the opening and 1" of tube left.
