Looked at the sky as it rained for the third day in a row it's rained in the afternoon. At this pace I'm never going to get out to the garage to tear down the engine :(

Stared at it, still waiting for my damn accelerator pump diaphragm. When you pay $12 to ship a tiny item like that, don't you expect it in 2 days?!?

In the meantime, working on a buddy's '78 SR500 thumper. Cool bike!

Just ran some quick errands, grocery store, post office, gas station.  Beautiful afternoon here in Central Tx.  I rode in a 3/4 helmet, t shirt, jeans and Chuck Taylors, this is really unusual for me as I almost never go out with out a jacket and boots..but damn it felt good.

Took off wheels and tires.  The rear tire is showing cord, time for new one.  Doing both in the same time - BT45s from Bike Bandit.

Started on my new muffler, gotta make one before my neighbors shoot me.

Rode it to work... discovered I had a major exhaust leak. Rode it home and waited for it to cool Retorqued exhaust and went for joy ride.

Bought a CB650 cam.

...

A 650 Custom cam will work for the 550 cam swap right?

I slid the bracket for my fairing up to the top it was all the way down on the bottom triple clamp. I like it all the way up. Its sits with the top of the windshield just under my chin. new fairing cut drilled and mounted.
here is photographic proof with a close in of the space the bracket can move up or down.

Installed new front wheel bearings. I did fack up the first set. The new ones are spinning smooooth.
It's looking a bit cafe-esque at the moment. Hmmmm.....

Cleaned up some parts, polished some other parts - there's a lot of alloy to be polished on a CB750... I think I'm getting better at it though!
Went through all the electrical bits I have to find the best parts to use and made a list of parts to buy - which is getting longer.
Honda CB750 K1 - awesome
Honda CB450 K5 - current project
Honda CB750 K2 - sold
Kawasaki Z1000 - sold
