Would probably improve the condition of some of our roads.

Nice GL Terry, that's the model I like the best.

Me too Cliff, I had a 1975 model in 1983, it was red, but I painted it blue because I liked that color better, so the one in the pic looks just like my old bike, except for the horrible fairing and luggage, but I'll take it back to original. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Wrestled an air box on for half an hour, replaced the clutch cable, and installed a new flasher to replace the broken one.

I replaced my ignition switch, swapped my stock bulky tail light for a smaller one, cleaned up some wiring, banged out a dent in my speedo casing, dropped my bars, and blazed around some twisty's as the sun went down. sigh....:)

What's "Riding Season" Tewsy? Over here we go out to the shed, roll our bikes out, and go for a ride, 24/7, 365 days a year. Of course, in the cooler parts of Oz, winter is defined by the need to wear long pants and a jumper. (or in Queensland or further north, shoes.......)

It's not long until Christmas, and once again we'll be sending each other Christmas cards with beautiful scenes of Pine trees capped with snow, and people riding around in sleighs, which is kind of ironic considering that it's usually around 100 deg F on Christmas day here, and the only ice in close proximity is in my Bourbon! ;D

I bought another engine for my CX500 Custom. There's nothing wrong with my engine, it's only done 40,000 miles and has been well looked after, but "there's no replacement for displacement" so I struck a deal for a CX650 engine (actually 673cc) which will pretty much go straight in.

I know, it's an illness, but I can't help myself. I wonder if I can bore it out to 750cc? A CX750 Custom would be pretty cool........ Now I gotta sell some stuff to pay for it........... ;D

Terry, the 650 makes a big difference(converts a slug into a reasonable ride).  How much did you have to pay for the motor?  I am looking at a spare Silverwing(no title for parts only) and wondering what to offer...Larry

Well technically I could still be riding. We hit 60 one day last week and rode. But now the lows are around 19. Highs around 30-35. To cold for me to be enjoyable.
