Worked on the K6 that I pulled out of the bat cave yesterday. The PO had the fuel lines down under the carbs and then up, how could that work? Also found a stripped nut on the sTarter relay and a spark plug cap that was not attached.
Slapped on some super bars and Pro Grips that I had on the shelf and put the tank on and routed the fuel lines correctly.
Had charged the battery all night so it was ready to crank. The old girl started up after 3 short cranks, she's alive! Adjusted the idle after a short warm up and I was off for a test run. Wasn't expecting this, but the bike runs real good, pods and all.
I was prepared to pull the carbs for a cleaning but not necessary at all. It's loud and popping on decel but overall running good.
The clutch is a bit "catchy" but may get a little better with use. Put about 20 miles on a couple test runs...
