Could this fry electrical components? If so which ones should I replace?
My hand controls shouldn't be effected?

It could but should blow a fuse first. Check all fuses and connections?

I can't check to ignt as the wife is working and I'm watching the kids. I'm pretty sure no fuse went as I still have power. I have to figure out why the bike won't turn over when I hit the starter button. Hand control was good prior to the new wire harness.

Try jumping the starter relay with a screwdriver (round switch on L side by batt)

I put the side mount license plate holder on where my rear passenger peg should go.  Looks nice.. I need to take a picture and post it.   Maybe after the Relay leg to Denison tomorrow.

Rode it. I've been away from home for the last two weeks, so it was great to just wander out to the garage, turn the key, hit the button and go. I had a great ride and did over 100 trouble free miles in comfort. All in all, a great day.

That annoying "Tail Light" warning light on the dash is still on, but when I left the pub and walked out to the carpark in the dark and turned the lights on, I discovered that, well, one of my tail lights is out? Ooops......... ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Now that my kids 750 is back together it's time to focus my attention on my 550, it's got a nasty oil leak and I'm going to have to pull the cyl head to fix it. Problem is the garage is a total mess and I need to get some sort of organization in my tool box as well as the garage floor before I turn a wrench on the 550. This may take all weekend, it's that bad.

I walked out to her in the garage and told her how good a girl she was, and that I was glad she let me ride her all day long yesterday.. :)

Fired up the 750............cranked right up.

Pissed gas out of somewhere.....either #4 carb or the "T" between #3 and 4, can't tell.

Seems, the rack is coming off........sux..........wanted to ride it to work this week.

Was planning to ride to Charleston next week.....probably still will. We'll see.
If it ain't raining, I'm riding.....~~{iii}?~~prost

If it sounds like I know what I'm talking about, it's because I cut and pasted from someone else.

Took the K3 out for a quick spin around town before Mother Nature went on the r@& again with 3 more days of rain and spitting snow! Bike ran strong and made me forget all about my PMS (parked motorcycle syndrome) LOL

Simson, I start my K3 with 2 kicks throttle open, keyoff,  then full choke and a starter button blip and she's running! Kindof like pumping a old carburated car before starting it. Works everytime 20 degrees to 80 degrees...HTH

Bike came with pods and run horrible at low throttle, so decided to put the airbox on it, now runs a whole world difference!
I reused one of the pods inside original airbox.

Gathered up random bits of steel a had laying around my house in parts boxes and fabricated a briefcase/computer case rack for my cb500 since such a one strap bag doesn't lend itself to carrying while riding a motorcycle and it is final exam time (my last semester of law school) and I am spending quite a lot of time at the library studying. When I am able to ride my bike to and from the library, the commute provides a small amount of joy in an otherwise bleak and unforgiving finals landscape. I know I should have taken the time to think it out more and make it more aesthetically pleasing, but it only took me an afternoon.

That rack looks pretty good for an afternoons work, especially mounted up. Simplistic and all there. Just remember to strap down that shoulder strap well so it doesn't get loose. I totally understand that nice bit of enjoyment between classes, I'm comin up on finals and all types of work being due. That 20 mins on the bike makes it suck so much less

Riding in fog is cool but once you pull over you are usually wet! When I was stationed out in ft Lewis the scenery was awesome. I could imagine how great it would be to ride a bike there.

I finished fabbing up my new gauge mounts on my triple tree. I had to cut off a section of my old broken one to utilize the style gauges that I had. I know I could have just got the correct triple tree, but what fun is that?  ;D
