Thanks Eric, and even around these parts that's a high price for a CX500. I've been lucky, every bike I've sold (apart from my F2, F's are just not worth restoring sadly) I've made money on.
I have a simple philosophy, if you want to flip a bike for profit, fix whatever's wrong with it so that the new owner can just get on it and ride, and it'll do well. I sold it on eBay (start price was $1000) and the top bidder bought it for his dad, he was a nice kid.
If you try to sell a non-runner, or a leaker, or one with horrible cosmetics, expect to have your pants pulled down, because you deserve to. This might not work for all, but so far, it works for me. Cheers, Terry.
