Finally got my one missing oil pump collar, installed, flipped 'er over, rings installed on pistons and installed on the rods....

Thanks for all the birthday wishes men, apart from playing with my 'Wang all day I also managed to go out for lunch with my wife and sons, and have a few cold ones as well.

I got a call today asking me if I was interested in working at the Manus Island Illegal Immigrant Detention Centre in New Guinea for a couple of weeks, starting next week, so I better finish putting my 'Wang back together this week and get one more ride in before I go away. Cheers, Terry.

Started fabrication of rear set mounts on my next project. Picked up 5 750's from a guy who was going to build cafe's. all but one was hacked up frame and wiring wise. Gonna work with what I got

I can't help myself!! Everybody has there thing. Guys here pick on Me cause As of yet I can't keep one for more than one season for myself. 37 cb750 in last six years. Red bike was part of deal from my end. All I do is make more work for my self then complain I have no time.

I took a 'mental health day' from work

Sanded and primed headlight bucket.
Reassembled my cleaned and painted controls.
Cam chain tensioner installed
Forks polished.
Tail light cleaned and polished.
Rear tire cleaned, sprocket guard stripped and painted.
Sprocket nuts and lock strips polished. New 17/48t sprockets installed.

Mentally healed

I decided that before I put all the plastics back on the 'Wang I'd take it for a ride and check the cooling system. Lucky I did too, as it's still running hotter than I'd like, so I'll order a new thermostat, radiator cap and hoses, and give it a birthday.

I had a great ride, it was a bit hot (31 deg C, or 88 deg in the old language) so it was a good test for the cooling system, and I thought I'd ride it up into the hills to further test it. I rode up to Kinglake West and had a pint of Bulmers cider and some lunch at the Kinglake pub, then back home again.

Here's a pic of the "Franken Wang" with some of it's clothes off.

Thanks Terry That tank is a stock from that 75f obviously it has been cut and welded. Here is a closer shot on bike I'm working on now. Trying to determine where I'm going. Made deal today with a body-paint guy for a bike. Think I'm going gold.

Btw worked on mounts for rear sets today

Yes here it's is a "ninja" 1998 zx11 D

I had a 1988 1000rr ninja and 1996 zx10 all basically the same bike but in my opinion the 88 rr was the baddest of the bunch

The construction pics are at my dads body shop, Ive been helping him some again lately.

I have been saying I was going to build the elevator since I started the new house, Dad was really been pushing me to go through with it, so I did. It only took about 16 hours and 400 in metal to get it to the point it is at now, I am waiting on some limit switches to wire it up for real
