pretty much broke the hump off of my airtech seat this afternoon. please note that airtech seats arent meant for fatties like me  :P  some jb weld and scrap drill bits will hopefully strengthen it some until i decide what i'm going to do with the bike.

My negative battery cable's connector slipped off so I tried to fit my spare cable.  It has some ancient looking screw clamp type connector on it that wouldn't clear the sidecover tab, so back to Autozone for a cheapie replacement before I can get a proper one.

Fabricated a baffle for my Mac 4-1 exhausts, now I can begin to tuning the carbs without worrying about snagging a ticket for loud pipes everytime I take her out. :D

Also waiting for the delivery of a collection of pilot jets to allow for some comparison data to get this #$%* dialed in.  Never had to deal with four advance curves when tuning a bike before.

Picked up my freshly bead blasted cases from a guy at work who did a beautiful job with them.  Also find the diamond tank I have been searching for!  Had another buddy of mine from work who lived in the area where the tank was pick it up for me.  I see it in person tomorrow.

Touched her longingly as I hurried out the door, maybe today I'll get her out for a few miles.

Ahhh, a weekend at home after 3 weeks working in Tasmania. I split my time between prepping a tank and side covers for paint, and riding the wheels off the K2/F2. Man, that bike is sweet, it handles better than a 750/4 has a right to, and that Yoshi pipe just wails! I re-routed the fuel line to sort the starvation problem I was having, and now it's good.

I've just discovered that some modern bike riders have found my favorite personal race track, I was scraping the pegs thru the curves when I saw 6 or 7 sport bikes parked on the side of the road with their riders staring at the old fart on his ancient 750/4, riding way too fast for that stretch of road. I thought about turning back and saying G'Day, but I decided that I'd let them keep wondering for another week or so, ha ha! I must remember to take the Triumph out next weekend, I haven't ridden it since I bought the latest 750 back in March, so I hope the battery is still good! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Exactly, I went with Bridgestone Spitfire since they have a hard rubber center and soft grippy sides.. Should make for a good tire..

Thanks Kit, nice to get a personal endorsement. But to be honest I saw so many bike builds here using them so I thought I would look into them and they just seemed to be the best bang for the buck..

Have 'em on mine too. I like them a lot.  :)

Was out with the PDX crew too yesterday. Lots of twisties, some double backs and gravel around the fire roads. Lots of fun and I needed a nap afterwards. Great day to be out riding.  ;D

Mounted the used stock horn I purchased recently, now I am almost "legal"!

Then, took it for fun illegal ride!! Drove by the local police station, saw a cop sitting in his patrol car, thought I better just get back home.

THE REBUILD CONTINUES.........

Put the Dyna controller in the holder and put the battery box/coolant reservoir back in. Coils are in and new run/brake/turn modulator in. The lights are neat. self canceling turn signals, rear turn signal tail lights are running lights now and also flashing modulated brake lights. They can be four way flashers and side to side flashing escort lights..when the headlight modulator is turned on, they are going to get out of my way  ;D...going to think I am law enforcement  ;D
