I installed new fork seals and polished the fork lowers. Now the calipers look trashy.
Not like these?

Beautiful day in Texas, went for a ride!

WASN'T IT, THOUGH?!?!  It was GORGEOUS here in Texas today!  Of course, due to lack of funds I'm at a standstill in my project until I receive my tax rebate for the year.  A nice $3k+ check should help me get towards the end!  (Tax rebates are significantly higher when you've been deployed during the fiscal year)

Thanks Dave, I bought a litre of POR-15 a couple of years ago so I've got enough for one more tank, but I've saved the KBS link into my favorites, 55 bucks is a bargain, my local bike shop wants 130 bucks for one POR-15 kit! Cheers, Terry.  ;D
i have a kbs dealer near me,the standard tank kit is only 250mls,i just did a tank with minimal left over,it also comes in 500 mls,the por is 500mls i think.anyone using these seal kits follow the instructions to the letter!go overkill on the prep and drying.

I know how to piss MCRider off, it involves a steel wire brush.  Did you polish those?  They look great.  To CyleRanger those are very nice.  Went out and replaced a fuse that got slightly crispy when monkeying around with new turn signals.  Battery needs replacing, won't hold a charge these days.  Oh well, it lasted 2 years.

Or What Did A Cager Do To It !

My bud Ned, "Old Ned" here , was using my k8 while his is down and got T-Boned in an intersection sitting still waiting for a light. :o Guy came out of a parking lot and ran over him! Thank God he is OK except for road rash and swollen hand. And of course sore all over. This is the nudge I need to start my build, have amassed quite a few parts. We are just waiting to see the insurance man on Monday, do all the legal stuff, it is a mess!

Found this bike in completely stock condition in Feb. 08. Paid over twice what my new one cost 30 years ago. Am trying to re-create the look of the late 70's Drag Bike styling.More later. 4-2-10 It ain't stock any more and I have no idea what I am trying to create !

Man that is so f'ed up. Glad your friend is ok tho. Bikes can be repaired. Too bad, people have one job when behind the wheel.. PAY ATTENTION.. its not real hard, yet many find it a hard thing to do.

Found my leak in the carb.  Replaced the float bowl, and refitted the carbs.  Turned on the ignition, pushed the button, and after 12+ years of silence, another 550 came back to life.  And what a sound out of those Swarbricks. ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D

Took it for a short spin, already have the Sta-bil in the gas so I didn't want to go far.  Just wanted to warm her up a bit and blow the cobwebs out for possibly the last time this year.

My CB750 is up on the center stand in my garage. I sat my hat and an inpact driver case on the seat while I whacked the crap out of some rusted screws on my CB500 motor.

Made my very own mono or mano meter for syncing the carbs.  Didn't really work, but did notice fuel pouring out of one of the carb air intakes  :o .  At least this means i get to spend more time getting to know my carbs tomorrow  ;D

Have a Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
