I took the blue K2 for a ride and 10 minutes in, it missed and farted, and stopped running on all four cylinders. Bugger. I looked down when I was sitting at the lights and noticed fuel running out of one of the overflow pipes. Turns out one of the float valves was screwed, so I replaced it with a shiny new "needle and seat" and presto, no more leaks and it's running on all four again.
I also noticed that the spark from #2 and #3 coil was a fair bit weaker than 1 and 4, so I replaced the coils with a set of Dyna 5 ohm coils and silicon leads, and it ran much smoother. I took it for another ride, did around 30 miles and it went faultlessly, but it was starting to rain, so I turned around and came home, the new owner has already paid me for it, and he's picking it up on Saturday, so I best not crash it! Cheers, Terry.
