Where'd you get those indy?

Fastfromthepast.com

They are ridiculously expensive, but I wanted something that bolts right on without having to fab anything up and these fit the bill.  They also carry Raask rearsets for about the same money (they also have a direct bolt on for the 500/550) but I've read mixed reviews about the quality of those.  I will tell you that these Tarozzi's are top notch quality.  Beautiful hardware and fit well.

pulled the front flat tire off the 550.  Found a wood screw in the tire.   Then I pulled the headlight to figurw why it was out.  Fuse was good.  Changed out the light bulb for a silver hi output($23)  and voila there be light.  Had all these thoughts of burned wires and it was fortunately just a bulb.

Walked past her sitting in the driveway under the cover in the rain and wished that it would stop raining. I don't live in Seattle, it's freakin' Denver!

Holy crap that's a heck of a lot of custom work to create a really ugly bike.

Aww James!!  Take 'er back out and meet up with the relay!  IT might go to Nova Scotia, don't know yet.  But what we do know is that Operator is going to ride from Fredricton to Edmondson and hand it off to Charlavoix who will tike IT West.
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

For starters, I made a new set of bar clamps, which will be powdercoated black soon. Then made a new bracket for the dummy lights. It's going to mount where the guages mount. After all of that, I relocated my ignition switch with a new bracket.

It's really nice to have full run of a CNC shop. (well, sort of...)

Nope. Really I just couldn't find a blue LED that matched the others that I had. No big deal though.

I had 15 minutes or so in the garage tonight, so I put the air box back together.  It looks great with a nice coat of black paint and new rubber carb boots.  As soon as I get the K&N filter, the whole thing can go back in.

That would be brilliant. An endless supply of quirky CB tanks to bring down the market prices.
