Todays the first day in about two weeks since i got the bike that didnt dismantle, clean, grind, measure, soak or buy tools, parts and now i feel guilty so im going to go find something to do.

Had to replace the inner housing of my rear turn signal... Opened it up and look like a battery blew up...

The Novus plastic polish showed up that I ordered to polish the YZ plastic. Just a little rubbing on that made a noticeable difference.

So, I had some #2 on a rag still and I started wiping on the 750's breadbox. It shined that up nice and quick.

i ordered oil seals and about 6-7 tools for my cb 550K...all i need now are inlet valves and valve guides...has any on come upon a oring kit that has every oring we could ever need...if no tomorrow im going to go through and note every oring and cclip on the 77 cb550k and look for kits.it may help some else later down the line

Replaced one my Emgo front turn signals. Turns out the little grounding strap inside had snapped clean. Hmm odd. I inspected the other still functional one and found out why. Even though the screw was tightened down inside the housing, there was still enough play to let it move around. Typical Emgo quality. I added a little doubled over black tape underneath it and it's snug now.
Now just waiting on new tires that should be here tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing how Metzeler Lazertecs handle.

Installed two right carb boots after soaking in xylol - yep, it works, soft and pliable.

Measured spigots on the head and adjusted throttle line - that stupid 4 to 1 system is gonna drive me up the wall one day. No matter what I do, the tank always messes it up.

Found that someone already put together list of orings and seals...ordered every oring i will need and also valve guides...damn forgot the valves lol....ill be doing some real work soon!

I've been riding to and from work every day this school year, rain or shine. This evening, when I got home, hadn't even got off the bike, my father in law walked up and showed me a letter he had received from the city. It seems that they didn't like the fact that the old CJ-7 had a flat tire, it's been about 2-3 weeks since I aired it up, called it a junk vehicle and said we had to take care of it or else.

My father in law had already aired it up for me. Looks like I got to get to work on the old beast. Damn, I've been having too much fun on the Honda. I guess it time to get the Jeep back in shape.

i installed new dyna 5 ohm coils, wires and plugs. i also ran a dedicated line to the coils (through a relay obviously) to keep them happy.

My $400 bike now has working front brakes!
Replaced the master cylinder, installed stainless steel lines (thanks Slingshot Cycles!) and disassembled and cleaned the caliper. Also, the speed bleeder made the process much easier.
Everything appears to work as it should. Test ride tomorrow.

Flew into Las Vegas from St. Louis Thursday Sep. 22nd and then rode my bike (Sportster) to Southern California for the weekend. After a few days with my wife and daughter, I rode back to Las Vegas. Monday night I picked up the 2 Battery Tenders that I had ordered at the UPS office. Tuesday morning I setup Battery Tenders on the 3 bikes which have batteries, caught the limo to the airport and flew back to St. Louis.

On the CB500 I'm restoring, I installed the sprocket cover, RH side cover, clutch cable & lever, front pegs, rear brake lever. 90% done!!!

Very nice. Mine is very rough. Last winter I had to pound out some sheet metal into floor pans for the driver and front passenger. I was getting complaints about slush spraying up on to my passengers.

One of these days Jeepie will get a ground up restoration. The Willys comes first though.

The wood floors aren't real. I'm going to build a mount to hold it. My fun room just entered a new level of fun. Now it's time for me to go ride around bikes blues and bbq and yell over all the "life saving" noises. I have to keep an eye on my tach on the beemer so I know it's still running.
