Stabil and carb bowl drained both my SOHC bikes today.

Still have the cheap collector insurance GS1100 to ride during the winter ;)

Made new carburetor stay and started the work on new air filter housing.  It helps when the wife is mad - gives me the motivation to stay at the shop for a long, long time  ;D

Broke my throttle cable on the way to work. on the side of the road, I swapped over to the pull back cable. then I rode the bike with one hand while I pulled on the cable with the other.  that was a learning experience!

I road my bike to Hollywood from my house which is east of Burbank in california..On the way back TONIGHT the clutch cable broke at the handle... So I road 20 or so miles in traffic with no clutch... I finally stalled the bike and got it into a gas station... I pulled the cable back threw the bike and took off the clutch cable cover..I made a few knots in the cable and suicide clutched the bike over half the way home.. but I made it..

My riding season is done for this year. Chain is gone, sprockets are down to nubs, and I have two broken spokes on the rear. Gonna start wrenching..... The 4K miles this season were fun tho!!

Looks like the one I made up for my K5.
Yeah those rectifiers are super-cheap.
If someone has any soldering skillz at all there's no reason to pay more.  :)

You might want to get some disposable protective film for your work/viewing area...or a whole heap O recplacment windows for the box. It looks like alot of work went into the box and I am sure you dont want it to be a 'one shot deal'. (frosted windows= no see see)

TOTP sukkas

...THX 70cb750. YES :( it is getting cold here ~2°C this night but I think in Denmark You have similar temperatures.

Just opened the package that I got from the German custom. I bought  the left and right hand control with the black kill switch button two weeks ago but the little black plastic on the light switch is broken :(
Have to contact the seller, I hate deals like that.

Have a good one...Georg

fork seals arrived, so i assembled and mounted the forks.  caliper/mount was sanded/painted previously, just waiting for the caliper seal then i'll mount that too.  disassembled/cleaned and sanded the swingarm yesterday.  3 coats of spray-bomb enamel, now curing over the HW heater.
