Drained the carb bowls on all of my bikes. Then got all but one inside my shop.  No one comes in that part of the building so leaving one out in warehouse should be ok until I get back.

Rode it about 40 miles. It ran like well but the oil leak from the front of the valve cover isn't going away.
And I don't think it's the gasket, although it could be.
Guess that means the motor needs to come back out.  Thanks Honda!  :-\
Oh well.

Rode it around for 50 miles.  Got home and it died - switched to reserve. Later on decided to go to work to move forward on my project. First fill her up and she stopped on the way twice - got her going by leaning her to the right.  Than hundred yards from Shell it did not work anymore.  Pushed her the rest and pumped 3.5 gallons - she fired right up as expected.  Gotta check the valve.  The reserve does not work.

I looked at the babies, too cold to ride.  Figured it was time to put the secret Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinders and wait until spring.

Hey Ward, how have you been since the relay ride in March at Rockingham? I believe you were on your 650 that day. I really enjoyed talking to you and the other members there that day ;D If you've posted pics of your 77 550 I must of missed them. Post some more. I got lucky and picked up the KO in May. My bikes are ok, but the camera adds a lot to both of them, trust me ::)

Finished installing the Yoshi rep pipe.  Took it for a ride.  WOW  it's almost too loud.  I think I'll have to kill the motor before I pull into my apartment complex.

Nice score, Steve!

Thanks.  I felt an emptyness after selling my K4 in 3 days and did an impulse buy.

Ran the bike without the manifold screws (where you put the tubes for the manometer), and couldn't figure out for the life of me why it wouldn't run without throttle.

Then I pushed it 1/4 mi home.

When I pushed it into my garage, I saw the 4 screws and washers sitting on ground.

Obviously, I kicked myself.

Dimitri I like that. Reminds me I am not the only one to do stupid things.  Like to try for an hour to start bike with two spark cables disconnected.

Pulled the carbs to find out why #2 was pouring.  Finally found a small piece of debris in a long side the float needle keeping it from closing all the way, fixed that check the rest and found a bigger piece stuck in #3 float but for some reason it didn't leak. :o  Then I flushed the accel pump circuit as I wasn't quite working properly, now I justhave to find time to get them back on.

I've also tried starting/kicking the bike with the start/stop switch on stop (several times -.-)

I am methodically going through the brakes on my bikes, doing master cylinders and calipers on everything.  I started with the masters and quickly found an 'issue' with getting the circlips out.  Thanks to advice on this site, tomorrow I'll drill a pair of pliers and insert some nails precision made tips that are long enough for the job!  Too easy!
