Got the 550 back from having the jetting fine tuned. Tuner took it around the block (
) to do a final high end jet check. 1st time I've heard the pipes over 3500. Pulled 8K+ a block away, and it sounded just like the videos of Honda race bikes.
However at well over 100+db, baffles are needed.
Bad news there was a major failure of the bolt that secures the remote adapter to the engine. Luckily, it happened at the shop, after the blast. Basically the oil pressure striped the bolt out.
Time to upgarde it to the mk2 version.
