Put a new battery in my CL350, and it started on the first kick.  Not bad for having sat for the last 4 or 5 months.  Also got the fork seals for the 750 today.  Now i just gotta find time to put them in.

Rode her to/from work Sunday.  On the way home it was finally dark enough to actually need a headlight.  Naturally, the low beam decided to cut out with 7 miles left.  Clicked on the high and thankfully it worked just fine.

Going to have to look over my switches and wiring.  Figure out what went loose.

Might just be a burnt out low beam element..?
That's the thing, I tried it again about a mile from home and Low worked again.

Well today was a weird day... LATE LATE or early this AM I put the 550K up for sale... Not sure why as I vowed to never sell her.. Got a few inquiries right away even with the high asking price... Decided to take her for a ride before calling anyone back......

Here she is next to a corn field... It was too much fun driving her. Got home, let the inquiries know I am removing her for being for sale. Then I apologized to her, gave her a bath and some Never Dull on the chrome........

Good man.
sanded down the pitting on the tappets then polished them, inspected the rocker shafts for play, re-installed the valve cover, adjust valves/tappet clearances, rode the living piss out of it for 20 miles or so.  It seemed to like the abuse.  I think it is possible I had a few clearances too tight prior to this endevour.  The tapping noise is more consistent with all valves now, gets quieter when hot, and is not heard over the exhaust over 2,000 RPM.
Is that all the problem was?
Let it sit in the driveway, which was good because I got hit by a drunk driver, with a suspended license.  My car is tougher than the bike.
That's really good - for being such a $hitty situation you know what I mean?

Today my forks "went out"? on me. theres really no resistance all of a sudden like as soon as I sit on the bike the compress almost all the way.  My teeth literally hurt from the hour drive from school to her stable ):  I was looking forward to a good trip this weekend too!

Cleaned/bench sync'd the carbs on my cb750.  Put my tail lights on, worked on bleeding the front brake.  Took her for a test ride... feels good.  I need to cut my front fender down and get that brace back on the forks though.  Feels a bit squirrly without that thing on there.

And no... I didnt go riding like that.  Just wanted a picture on the bike :)

Not sure... it was on there when I bought the bike.  It needs to be replaced, just haven't gotten to the tires yet.

If that's directed towards me, it came from classic cycle city... got it on their ebay store.

Here's some pics from their website:  http://www.classiccyclecity.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=37

On the tire size, being that its a 16" dia. it should be a 5.00x16 = 130+/- in metric.

poked around the 650 to figure out what it's deal is, and started hooking the carbs up on the 350 again after going through the left carb's idle circuit... again.

A kid I know who works at a big box cycle shop here in town just recently told me they make an 8mm to 10mm adapter stud for mirrors. May go to 10mm for my 73 Suzuki GT750 if I don't find better 8mm..

Took it apart clear to the naked frame. Welded in some replacement tubing and worked ar welding the I bikes frame kit. I ground off some weldberries, they were in a hurry when they made this one. Welds are scary looking but did last 40 years.
I'm looking at adding some gussets and rewelding a few spots. Oh yes, K0 750 hot rod.

Newbie here:

After replacing the o-rings on the tubes between the carbs earlier in the week, I waited for it to stop raining. It stopped raining, the battery was dead. Jump started her, then the caliper piston got stuck out, bike would barely roll. Got some pressure off the piston, putted around with no front brake for a little while. This weekend I get to clean out the caliper. Woo-Hoo!
