I touched up the paint on my fork tube on my cb650 that I skinned up getting the bike back into the shop last week.  I also bled the front brake and fixed the leak on my cb750 oil tank.

worked on my new purchase (cl350)  replaced the starter motor, cleaned it up. cleaning the tank, Just need rear spokes and a newer tire.

also, tore down the top end of my 72' CB750 engine that has a headgasket leak.  All looks good with the bore and pistons. replacing the rings, will lap the valves and new base, head and valve cover gaskets, o-rings etc for the top end.

fun fun fun

also starting a new k4 750 project and later this winter will finish my 550 cafe.

Meh, concluded I'm going likely going to have to re-lace the rear wheel on my XL250s.  >:(
Never done that, I guess it's a rite-of-passage. ::)
I might want to replace the sprocket carrier too.

Showed it to my best friend

It can have few meanings, you know  ;D ;D  ;D

I went through all five carburetor needle positions last night - change it, ride it, repeat.  It was very educational.  Took it for a longer ride afterwards in the dark, quite a night it was.

When I got back I was still pumped - so I changed the brake fluid in  the front brake.   I live the wild life  8)

Took off the useless mtn. bike mirror I had clamped on as a "temporary" fix after my right mirror seized in the mount. "Temporary" lasted a more than a year but I finally got a set of mirrors from a member here and did my first drill n tap. Far from perfect but it works - I can see behind me again and now I can put the "temporary" where it might actually do some good - on a bicycle!

Had to make two trips to the tax office to get the title transferred for the CJ360T.
(They have/need a form for everything!)

The guy I bought the bike from never transferred the title to his name. ::)
Heh, the guy gave me a good deal because he thought I'd have to pay for a bonded title...

Fortunately the guy whose name was on the title still lived here and was very cool with helping me with the paperwork after I contacted him. (he sold the bike 6 years ago!   :o )
Good motorcycle karma, pass it on!
 :)

Oh yeah, and I took the XL250s frame & parts to get powder coated today.

Wow. That bike makes me want to ditch my 400f.
And those small riders you refer to, I call them back packs. Many of the sport bike guys seem to attract back pack size girls.

I like the design of the seat, but the 750/4 lettering on the side of the rear hump ain't cutting it for me.
I'd get some paint thinner on it and remove it pronto.  :-\
