Thanks, yes that's the Classic Cycle City reproduction. Very high quality and perfect fit. Ted is a pleasure to deal with too. The stock seat weighs in at about 8 lbs. by the bathroom scales and this seat weighs in at about 4 lbs. (Not very accurate, but feels like it weighs half that of the stock seat.)
The upholstery is much nicer than I expected. Fit and trim are better than what I've seen from most manufacturers. This seat uses the factory hinges and lock, I don't think it took 15 minutes to swap out.
I couldn't be happier.

Changed out the fuel lines. Then drove a total of 82 miles today. Went to the last covered bridge in Wisconsin.

Unpacked the K8 airbox I bought on E-Bay and was pleasantly surprised to find it included the 4 rubber airhorns, all in good , supple condition AND the 4 original clamps too

Finally got my M bars with freshly painted controls mounted with wires through the bars. I thought the wiring part was cake. Both sides took around 15 minutes and I didn't use anything but a shoe string. (Controls letter is red, not pink)

Rode the K0 to a small lake and after that to the place where I did the first picture after I bought it last year
and did new pictures. Same bike but it looks very different right now.

How does it run and handle? Good looking KO. We are many miles apart, but your KO has his long lost twin brother here in North Carolina. My engine is #1031528 and 4/70 build date. Whats yours?

Rode out to the local Menards and came back with a 30"X36" sheet of Plexiglas. Not for the bike, but for the wife's little "wind break" that she goes out to sit in and read.

took pipe 1 and 2 off my KO to clean and to do a little repair patching with a little bit Of JB weld. Pipes are the original 300's and I want to run them as long as possibly, but they are showing there age. Maybe I can throw around some hints and my wife get me some new HM300's some for Christmas

Sadly I'm selling my gold K2 to fund the K1 shipping and resto, and the K0 resto project.

Last weekend I put it up on my new bike lift to swap out the swingarms, Ken (the PO) used a K0 swingarm on it and I needed it and the shorty chainguard for my K0, so I installed a freshly powdercoated K2 swingarm, and chainguard. (once I cut a piece out to clear the 140 rear tire) Geez that bikelift is a joy, it makes wrenching just so much more enjoyable!

I also disassembled the Koni shocks and repainted the springs with gloss black epoxy. After a couple of hours in the oven at 100 deg C they look like new! Sally the Wonder Dog, my 16 year old Kelpie, is just about buggered now, but she still likes to sit out in my garage with me when I'm working on my bikes. Cheers, Terry.

What part of Germany?

Love to be there right now, with my bikes.

Took mine for a 60 mile shake down.......................................screamed like a stuck pig...................beautiful.

Now, all i need is, insurance, registration, and I'm riding it to work.

Not bad for $100.00 bike...................course, parts, labor......add another $500.00.

Still I think it needs some front end work. Has a vibration.

You are very rude to be hoggin' all those parts. Glad I am not a 750 guy ye, but when I am, I will be hunting you down for some parts!!!!

...my bike has the VIN 1022xxx and it was first licensed in 1969. Your K0 is the little brother

Same weather here like yesterday, going to take the K1 for a ride but right now it is 10:25AM here and we only have +3°C

Put new pipes on. MC Enterprise 4-2 I picked up on ebay a few years ago. The fit isn't perfect, but it sure looks better than my craptastic 4-1 I had on there. Still need to tweak a couple pipes to get them completely settled in. Sounds nice, just quieter.

Here you can see where it kind of interferes with the kick stand. I need to put some kind of pad on the pipe it will rest on. I also need a new mount stop for my center stand.

Spent a total of 11 1/2 years in Germany. 2 in Stuttgart,1/2 in Illisheim, 2 in Nurenburg (<-spelling?), 3 in Giessen, 4 in Wildflecken..........loved them all.

After doing some minor patch work on #1 and # 2 HM300 pipes reinstalled and took the 750 KO down the road. Came back and jump on the K6 and took it down the road. I like having two SOHC4's

After disposing of uninvited guests, (oopps that should read - after seeing visitors on their way), I took the pony (cb400) out of the shed. The weather was humid and overcast.
Topped up fuel, took off to Ardrossan (SA) via The Hummocks - the only decent corners around here for MILES!!! Got hot and sweaty ( which is okay if you're with someone - but not so good on your own!) as we got closer to the coast sweat started to dry and it became a bit cooler. Stopped at the Bakery, had a coffee and cake while watching passerbys looking at the bike. Don't you love that? Returned via Moonta (SA) did about 166klms all up. Got home parked her in the shed - patted the seatand said thanks for the ride.
Gotta love riding!!!!

Greggo, try running both pipes on the outside of the side stand like mine are.

MJ, could be the trick. I'll try it. They definitely didn't come with instructions, and I couldn't find a picture of one installed for the life of me.
