I rode down to AL's dinner and jumped a tank filled with sharks.

Pulled those sh1tty Red Wing shocks off the back so I can give them back to my co worker.  Put the surprisingly better CycleX shorty shocks back on until I find a set of Koni's I can afford.

Put the 650 away, then rode the 360 back to the house.  I'm in San Antonio for 8 days the Florida for 3 days.  When I get back the 360 is going inside for the duration of the winter.

Rode the hell out of it, about 100 miles. Didn't break down on me once (except when I forgot to turn the petcock back on), a step in the right direction. Still running lean though >:|

I fooled with it for a while, fitting the pipes this way and that.  Even at its best, it didn't fit real well, and I wasn't happy with it.  So, I put it back on ebay (where I got it from), and it sold in less than an hour to some reseller.  Needed the dough for the 750 project.  I'm going to fit a Hooker 4-1 that I've been saving - looks brand new, and has some crazy looking equal length headers.

Hey that looks great mate, I'd never seen one with aftermarket wheels before, but they really give it a clean look. If your wife ever tells you to get rid of it, let me know right away! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Rode two up to Goodrich to pay some more on the new bike.  My son hadn't seen it in the flesh yet.  On the way back I had it up to 7 grand in third before popping it up into fifth.  Didn't want to get carried away or get a ticket! ;D ;D 8)

Got squirrly on the freeway...

On my way to work today while changing lanes on the freeway @ 70mph... I hit a row of pot holes that made the bike go squirrly pretty bad (tank slapper style?) ... it happened so fast I didn't have time to be scared but only to observe in slow motion. It started correcting itself right away, getting less and less, but seemed to take a while to completely stop. I almost thought for a minute my rim was bent or my tire was flattened. But it turned out to be fine. Glad I was using my blinkers and not hand signaling at the time. Phew...

It was a beautiful day for a ride but I stayed home and worked on the XL250s.  :P
Reassembled the forks, and began the reconstruction.

Painted my seat pan today with DupliColor.  Must have missed cleaning a spot during prep, cause the paint lifted after the 2nd coat.   Now i have to wait for it to get bone dry so i  can sand it - blargghhhh.

Had the front tire rebalanced, seems the tire manufacturer's placement of the red dot is still a mystery to some.   Also changed the sparkplugs, cleaned the air filter on the VFR.  What a pain in the butt that was.

Working on a friends CB750 K6 to get it running after he lost some interest after having sit unloved for 6 years. Turned a pile of small pieces into a right hand switch. Thanks to those that posted info about doing this! Cliff.

Woke her up after a week. Took her for a short spin. Cleaned front disc, replaced pads and later on replaced sprockets and the chain. Tsubaki rules!

I replaced my 1 Heavy, gas filled carb float w/ a new one & installed the carbs,I then installed some Works Performance dual rate front fork springs(Very nice products!) & put on the correct lighter springs for my Hagon rear shocks and took it for a RIDE...she handles real nice now & doesn't whack me in the back over those "Frost Heaves" any more.
