Tugged on the breaker bar, nada.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Some real good heat from a real heat gun on those cylinders may help if the acetone doesn't blow first.

A polished SS tank shell would be kewl.  More affordable for us poor folks.  Nothing wrong with a faux tank.  The tank on my Venture is under the seat and between the frame.  You can't tell that what looks to be a tank in front of the seat is fake and just a cover for the battery, electrics and a huge air cleaner box.

Dang near caused me to have a flashback.    ;D  Tangerine Dream's Rubicon
is another favorite...

Pulled the bald tire/wheel off the back of the virago, put new brakes and spare wheel with a new tire on it, pulled the baldie off the back of the 750 finally, put my chrome brake stay and new brakes on it and the other already prepped back wheel, found a front wheel with a tire that matches the back tire under a pile of stuff I forgot about, spent a long time cleaning the wheel, mounted it and gave it a spin, wouldn't ya know? Has a big whomp on one side. So, gotta peel that tire and put it on the wheel that I just took off and my tire irons are across town.. :(

Pulled the engine out of my cb550 k1 this past weekend and it's all apart now. I'm in the process of re-ringing it, replacing the primary drive chain and top it all off with a cb650 cam. I have all the parts I need except engine seals which should be coming in sometime this week, it didn't have any issues with leaks but I figure now is a good time to replace them anyway now that it's apart.

The Weather Channel said the temp was 35F with clear skies this morning.  Looked out the window and other than a little bit of frost on the bike cover, everything was clear.  Headed out to work and going by a church, their sign said it was 32F.  O.K. somebody's got it wrong, but who cares.  Get closer to work and the roads start to look a little frosty.  Right around the school the roads were almost totally white. :o  Park the bike at work and get off and crunch, crunch as I walk on this large grains of white stuff.  Oh, its just salt I think to myself. ::)  Then I realize this stuff is on the hoods of the Buses.  It was ice chunks as if it had hailed here. :o

Out on my morning run I find that the roads were quite icy.  The bus almost slid threw an intersection on me! :o  How did I manage to get to work? I asks myself.  The road improve before I head for home, so I had no problem.  But the ice chunks were still there on the grass and vehicle hoods and such.  I get home and there was no sign of the stuff! :o  This all happens in a four mile radius from my house. Michigan! ;) ;D ;D

35F is close enough to freezing for me.  Adding a little wind just drops it further.  I usually call 40F my limit, at that only lasts about an hour before I have had enough.  :)

I sat on it last night....and realized I'm not crazy about the position of the footpegs in relation to my single-seat and clubman handlebars.

They are like Elite SHIN'KILLERS....out to get me.... as I mounted her and foot'push-rolled across the shop...I managed to champion 2 new shin'bruises.

Good times.
(Anybody have plans for some homemade rear-sets? lol)
